Rick continues to find things to do. Today it is 82 degrees and sunny. He got the carpet down on top of the boat and other odds and ends accomplished. I hope we get on the water soon as he is running out of things to do.
Wonderful tacos at Fish's for $1.50 each. Chicken or beef and so big no one could eat more than two! Met many locals that are very friendly and helpful. We got some good information and invited to return for the torch-light parade on Thursday evening.
The water is not going down very fast. It is supposed to turn cool. It is getting just a little old hanging around LaCrosse. On the bright side, we feel good, have no deadlines to meet, enjoy our walks and have water and electricity. What more could we ask for? Take care, Diane

For a retired couple, you two are sure working hard! Big Orange looks AWESOME! I know ya'll are Hawkeye fans, but I'm thinking she looks a little partial to the Chief.
ReplyDeleteRandy and I have been making sure the Shelbyville house is safe. We've only thrown two parties. :-) Have a safe launch and keep the blog rolling! ....so much fun to read! jb
We are sure enjoying the Blog. And I am sure you are very tired of LaCrosse. What a HOOT! Well, cuddle up and get through the cold and hopefully, heading south on Monday, you will get warmer!!!!!!Hugs to you both, ML
